Thank You So Much

Hi guys! Happy Almost New Year. :D
I hope you enjoy my special Thank You post. I'm going to do a lot so be prepared for special features that I wouldn't do otherwise. Have fun!

Post Status

These were the posts that were most and least looked at:
Most: Should Notch And Jeb Have Sold Minecraft To Microsoft? I think you guys liked this one because it was a debate post. I'll make sure to do some more of those!
Middlest: How To Start Your Own Blog AND My School Book Fair Haul.
Least: Happy Thanksgiving!

Pageviews

So far, since starting my blog, there have been 684 pageviews. That means people have looked at this site 684 times! That's awesome, is it not?

Special Features

Have you noticed the stuff on the side of my blog like the poll and archive? Well, I can set that up myself. I can add other stuff, like translate boxes that let you change the language or search bars that let you look up posts, and I was wondering which one would be more useful. I try not to clog the side up with too much stuff but I thought maybe either would be good. I'll set up a poll!

Thank You!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I appreciate you looking at the blog, sharing it with your friends, and stuff like that. I don't want to seem like I am pageview crazy, but each and every look whether you loved it or hated it counts. It's shocking that I've had SO MANY views in just 4 months!!! I truly hope you enjoy the blog and continue to love it throughout 2015. See you in the new year!

Alex and Ani

Hi everyone! Happy Kwanzaa! Also, guess what-I'm blogging from my new iPod Touch. :D
I realized today that when I like something, I don't just like it. I become totally obsessed with it! Time for my newest: Alex and Ani!
Remember how for about five years there was that big fad with the Pandora charm bracelets? Well, there's a new one. Alex and Ani (Alex and Ani Website) is a company that makes awesome bangle bracelets.
What is so special about them? Quite a few things! They are made in America, they dangle, they have certain meanings, and they are just plain pretty!
What I meant by "certain meanings" is that if you go online every bracelets has a special meaning, like friendship, loyalty, community,  ect.
Do I have any Alex and Ani bracelets? None are currently in my possession. But I ordered the "Celtic Knot Bangle" and it will be coming to my house soon! Okay, maybe not so soon. It is the day after Christmas.
About that special post.... I'm going to do it around December 30!

The Celtic Knot Bangle

I got this off the Alex and Ani site-that's a LOT  of bracelets!

Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a wonderful day!
I had a great Christmas, and I got quite a few things, one of which is an IPOD TOUCH!!! Here is a pic. I guess Santa thought I was really good this year because he also brought me a case and a color changing Bluetooth speaker! Thanks Santa.
My very cool iPod touch

Some of the other things I got:

  • minecraft figures
  • Pokémon cards
  • a very pretty american girl doll outfit-the "Frosty Fair Isles Set", I believe.

  • lots of scented hand sanitizer was in my stocking. I think my dad,-the germaphobe-is to blame.
  • I also got two bottles of perfume.
  • My aunt got me a BEYOOOOTIFUL journal in Seattle with faeries on the cover. Thanks AJ!
I hope you had a great Christmas, and a awesome Hanukkah. (Kwanzaa is tomorrow.) Also, I might be doing a special Thank You post soon! What is it? Telling you would spoil the surprise!
Happy holidays,
Ella ;D

Crazy Cool Pokémon Update

So I know I've already done a post about Pokémon but I just thought I would give you guys an update on the new games coming out July 2015!!!!!!!!
I don't know that much about them, but I know enough to do a post on them. One thing I'm really exited about is that Eevee will cover every single type!

The games are called Pokémon Solar and Lunar and the legendaries are kind of creepy:
I think the one to the left is fire type and the one on the right is psychic type. They may be new types! I think all this stuff because I got a fact from a reliable source that they are indeed real games but I don't know that much about them. I just got these pictures from the internet. The ones I choose are official looking, or ones I got from that reliable source. I think this is the cover:
I am so excited! I will definitely do a post on the game next July.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving today because I couldn't wait! These are some of the things I am thankful for:

  • my family
  • my friends
  • Chloe (my dog)
  • my furry brown sweater (thanks, Nana :D)
  • the way the grass smells after a good, hard, rain
  • mint candies
  • Microsoft Word
  • my NookColor and the My Writing Spot App
  • my education
  • my furry WHITE sweater (no idea who gave me this)
  • my school playground
  • my blog viewers and followers (you guys!)
Those are most of the things I am thankful for. I probably missed or forgot a few, but that's okay! I am going to be SUPER busy these next few days so expect a post on maybe Tuesday or Saturday. Bye and have a great Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for?

Pokémon

It seems that everyone at my school loves Pokémon. Trading cards, movies, stuffed animals! I got over that phase a while ago, but I still really like the video game.
I currently have Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon Diamond Version, but that's just because I don't have a  2DS or 3DS. I plan to sell my old one so I can get some of the newer Pokémon games and still use my old ones.
The redone Ruby and Sapphire games just came out! They're called "Omega Ruby," and "Alpha Sapphire." I'm SO exited and I'll definitely play them. Well, probably just "Alpha Sapphire" because I also want to get the "X" version. Or "Y." Whichever has Xerneas in it. It's probably "Y" because in Black Version you get a white legendary and in White Version you get a black legendary.
My favorite Pokémon of all time is Flareon, although I've never personally owned one. It's my user picture, for heaven's sake!
My favorite Pokémon
They are SO cute. I really like this picture because it looks like a sweet little baby Flareon.  I will add some other Flareon pictures at the bottom.
These are my Top 5 Favorite Pokémon:
5. Lillipup and all of its evolutions make great counterparts to your starter in battle, especially if your starter faints.
4. Times will change and so will my team, but there's one Pokémon that I know will never leave my team, and that's my starter, Tepig. It's a great fire-type that's a great addition to any trainer's inventory.
3. The first Pokémon card I ever received was a Deerling from one of my friends. I had no idea what it was until two years later! But even though now I don't have that card anymore, I still remember that pretty little green card that I would read over and over.
2. Reshiram is my favorite legendary. I think you can guess by now that my favorite type is fire!
1. Flareon. I love it I love it I love it!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Keep checking for new ones!
Ella ;D
P.S. Here are some Pokémon links:
Pokémon Official Website
Pokémon Players Video
Glaceon and Flareon, two of the Eevee evolutions.
Not as cute as the other ones, but it works.

How To Start Your Own Blog

Hi everyone! Today's post is about how to start your own blog. A blog is a unique way to communicate your thoughts and feelings to other people using the internet (excuse the big words). What I'm saying is that if you like collecting stuffed bears (or Pokémon cards, or antique toothbrushes, you get the idea) than you can create a blog about all of your stuffed bears. Or if you have a business making stuffed bears, you can make a blog with special updates about your business.
1: Creating Your Blog
I made my blog using Blogger, a really cool thingy created by google. All you need is a gmail account. Then you can use Blogger to create your blog. Choose a fabulous name and URL! Tip: Have your blog URL correspond with your blog title. If you have an animal blog, it doesn't make sense to call it "thefashionspot.blogspot.com". Now why on earth would you do that? :)
2: Designing Your Blog
Okay, so now you have your blog created. Now let's make it the best dressed site in the web! First, go to the tab in the blog updating part labeled "Template". Choose the blog background you want and save it. Then, optionally, click on "customize" and choose a font and/or color. Now go to "layout" and select "Add a Gadget". Click it and then scroll down the options until you find the option "Text". Now click on it and write a short bio about yourself. Repeat the process but instead of clicking on "Text" click on "Poll". Now make a poll like this:
Did You Like The Blog?
Yes
No
You see, viewers love a say in any blog. I know I do! I have a corresponding poll with every post.
You can use the same methods to add video bars, popular post links, blog stats, google plus easy follow buttons, etc. Tip: Don't clog your blog with layout stuff! Find a neat way to organize everything.
3: Your First Post
I know it's tempting, but don't start your first post on whatever you plan to blog about. Use this post to explain why you made the blog, and make a longer bio about yourself.
I hope this post helped you create your blog. Have fun blogging!

My School Book Fair Haul

Every year at my school we have a Scholastic book fair. And this year I took all my saved up money and thought "Well, Christmas isn't too far away, so I guess I'll buy some stuff."
And I did.
This is a detailed list of the things I got:

  1. A book called "Cleopatra In Space". A surprisingly good comic about the ancient Egypt princess Cleopatra that is teleported into a futuristic land. Read it if you ever get the chance!
  2. Minecraft: Essential Handbook. This book is a detailed guide of Minecraft, part of the Minecraft Official Handbook series. Perfect for a newbie, but I recommend the other three guides for experienced players.
  3. A make your own Pom-Pom Pets Kit, which is a guide about how to make adorable little critters out of a fork, some yarn, and some glue on eyeballs. Cute!!
  4. An invisible ink pen. Not much more to say.
  5. Two posters, one Jets themed and one Minecraft themed. I hung them over my bed.
All of this stuff is really cool! If you ever want to buy a book at your book fair though, Cleopatra in Space is REALLY good. Believe it.

Should Notch And Jeb Have Sold Minecraft To Microsoft?

For those of you who don't know what Minecraft is, check this link out and watch this video:Minecraft Tutorial Video. It's a detailed instructional Minecraft video.
Okay, so recently, the programmers of Minecraft, Notch and Jeb, sold it to Microsoft. This post is about:

Should Notch And Jeb Have Sold Minecraft To Microsoft?

Let's examine the pros and cons.
Pros:
Microsoft MIGHT do a good job with it.
It made Notch and Jeb millionaires (they weren't already?).
Cons:
They're going to raise the prices.
They MIGHT NOT do a good job with it.
Hmm....They're equal.
My opinion is:
NO NO NO NO! BAD NOTCH! BAD JEB! Because Microsoft MAY ruin Minecraft! They might make it into a happy sappy lovey dovey game! There will be no monster-hunting fun or pushing other players into lava! So this is what I think:
KEEP YOUR PAWS OFF OF MINECRAFT, MICROSOFT!!

PS. The polls are in and The American Girl of the Year Fan Fave Is Kanani.

American Girl Dolls

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I've been busy.
Today's post is about American Girl Dolls. They are these really cool dolls that are very popular. (Their prices are a little extreme though.)
You can get either a My American Girl, which is a modern doll that you can customize, a Girl Of The Year, which is a limited time doll they make every year, or a Historical Character, which is a doll based on a certain time in history.
I have exactly three. My first is Zoe Kona. She is a My American Girl and she has long brown hair with bangs and brown eyes. I received her for christmas a long time ago. My second is Samantha Parkington, the non-Beforever one. (The Beforever brand is when American Girl redid all the Historical Characters outfits, rewrote their books, and brought Samantha back from the AG archives.) She has medium length wavy brown hair, brown eyes, and bangs. I got her from one of my older friends who didn't want her anymore.
My last doll is Marie-Grace Gardener, a fairly new Historical Character. She has long caramel-brown hair and brown eyes. I got her with my own money.
The 2 dolls I'm hoping to get for christmas are:
A doll with long wavy red hair and blue (or green, I forget) eyes.
Kanani, a past girl of the year you can now only get from Santa or on Ebay
Bye for now! Also vote in the poll which Girl Of The Year you think is the best.

Welcome To blogger girl

Hi! I'm Ella, and welcome to blogger girl. This blog will have tons of different posts on varying things, maybe a couple videos. Who knows?
I like swimming, reading, writing, and of course blogging. My favorite video game is minecraft, my favorite book is "Ball", and my lucky charm is an owl necklace with a mood stone in the middle (cool!).
Right now it is Autumn, September 26th. That means my third favorite holiday (after Christmas and Valentine's.) is coming up! Halloween! I might be a Twister girl (the headpiece is the thing you spin!) or a ninja or a scarecrow. I always decide last minute.
Well, that's all for now. I'll probably post again next weekend. Goodbye and keep checking for new posts!
-Ella :)
